beach bum.
Mason is clearly displaying his rebellious attitude here. (but he is still so cute.)Today was great. We woke up in our condo (with freshly cleaned floors) and began our vacation. Randy cooked breakfast and we all lounged around with our coffee. Then we took the kids down to the beach/pool. Mason didn't want to have anything to do with me since he had his big strong daddy to play with, so I read my book by the pool, while Dover and Mason played. (It sounds a bit selfish, but Dover wouldn't have wanted it any other way.) Thank goodness, we had overcast today, so what would have been 100 degree weather, was cooled down to the 80's. Mason (and family) took a long afternoon nap before indulging in the all-you-can-eat crab buffet at Captain Jack's. Then we stocked up on our groceries for the week, and are waiting for that wonderful moment when we put all the kids to bed, sit out on the balcony, coffee in hand, and ocean breeze on our faces. I am hoping that Mason will sleep well in his pack n play tonight because last night he didn't. It was kind of sweet, because it was the first night EVER that Mason has slept with us, in bed. It was kind of not-sweet, because it reminded me of being 9 months pregnant...feet, hands, elbows, and knees to my gut all night long. Yesterday, the Tomlinson girls had a rebellious funk going on (lots of spankings). It was apparently contagious, because Mason woke up with it and has continued it all day long. He has been plenty enjoyable, just small spurts of spankings throughout the day. Well, I am off to enjoy the night with my hubbs and friends!
