Christmas Break
One of the benefits to working in a school atmosphere is the holiday breaks. As of this hour, Dover will be home till January 7th! That is 20 days home with us! Tomorrow, we are spending the day with the Tomlinsons, to help take care of Naomi after her surgery. Mason will have a blast playing with Hannah and Adah. Friday, we are going to visit Santa Clause in Green Hills and finish up our Christmas shopping. We are taking advantage of this time off by scheduling many (past due) dinners with friends. And my house will be very clean, because I will have more time to clean it (unless Dover's mess counteracts the cleaning process, which has been know to happen.) Since Mason was just 5 months old this time last year, this will be our first 'functional' break together as a family. We are all looking forward to it.

Yay!!! How fun for you. That is so awesome that he gets to spend some much time with you guys during Christmas.
Erin gets 5 weeks vacation and usually saves them for the holidays too but unfortunately this year he isn't going to take his vacation days and instead is going to cash them out on his last day. Plus, since he runs his own business now, he works even when he is home. Bummer :(
