My Morning FB Status

This is something I am passionate about, so today, I am blogging my morning FB status.

"Jana is always amazed to hear people talk about God, and who He is....'TO THEM'. You don't get to create Him! He created you! He is -who He is- and He is revealed in His word! How arrogant we are! I wonder if any of us would be arrogant enough to TEAR OUT the pages of the bible that we don't like, and hand it back to Him? Just a thought. haha. hmmmm....not today. this is something i see over and over. People can't understand God for who He is, so instead of accepting it, and seeking out that understanding through His word and prayer, they just decide to 'believe' that He is someone they "can handle". Everyone has a different box that they want Him to fit in, and He can't do it! His word is final!

Good thought, Jana. Philosopher Voltaire said, "God created man in his image then man turned around and created God in his." People either can't or don't want to admit that by saying (or thinking) "to me God is..." or "in my mind God is..." that God is a creation of their mind, which ultimately makes them God.

So true... everyone decorates 'their box' differently and adds or omits the things that don't work for them or are too hard to do, when all we have to do is take Him for who He is and what He has done..Doesn't matter if we like it or not, the paint doesn't get to decide what it paints..I like your thought Jana.. keep 'em comin'... :)
